This is a 711.8 (square feet) project of mural design. Although it is still painted on wall, we do not want to design it like “normal” mural. Because of the narrow space, we want to design a painting to achieve the effect which seems like extending the space. We are going to define a project as “Art Space Design”

Before.
We believe handmade painting has a soul, so we don’t want to use any projection to make our draft.
Before painting, we considered with their furniture and the interior sense to do our design and make simulations for the owner to be the reference and selection.

Before.
The owner has a wind range of antiques in his villa. We would like to build a space which can combine with his unique style.

We spent considerable time on counting the correct spacing by hand-made and marked it with a large number of tapes to show all of things in details.

Before.
There are a lot of furniture which were made by animals’ furs and bones. It makes us to associate with the beginning of Ancient civilization. Ancient Egypt is one of the famous country which is full of symbolize culture in this world. However Chinese people really believe in practice geomancy with our house. Considering with most of Egypt’s style murals were painted in their mausoleum, so we wanted to change the details of it. To delete the “death and born” part and drew an abundant of corps to instead of. The fun part is, we even wanted to fade out all of characters’ eyes in this mural because we thought it will be too horrible to watch it at midnight. But the owner wants to keep it original. So we kept his opinion and rebuilt an emulation of Egypt’s mural for him. In conclusion, I believe make fully discussed with our customer and try to make balance point between designer’s and client’s opinion is the most important part of our work.
